A great day of women’s basketball in Fontajau. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, in which Uni paid tribute to women who have been fundamental in the club\u2019s history, the Girona team secured another victory in the LF Endesa. Cad\u00ed started strong, but a dominant second half from Sargatal\u2019s team left the Urgellenques with no options, as they defeated Sedis 82-58.<\/p>
The visitors had a strong start at Fontajau, setting the pace with a vertical style of play. Spar tried to respond and managed to score with Canella and Mack inside the paint, but their lack of accuracy from long distance put them at a disadvantage, allowing Sedis to pull away in the first seven minutes (4-13).
